Marleen Yosef PA-C
Diplomate Fellow, SDPA
A native Tennessean, Marleen Yosef, PA-C was raised in Nashville. She is a board certified Physician Assistant by The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Marleen obtained her Bachelors of Science degree from Tennessee Tech University in Cellular and Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Marleen continued her education at Trevecca Nazarene University where she completed her Master of Science in medicine in the Physician Assistant Program.
Her passion for medical and cosmetic Dermatology grew as she studied the skin and various treatments while working with Dr. Ronald Nelson during an elective clinical rotation.
Marleen is passionate about the care she provides for her patients. As a resident of Antioch she enjoys serving her own community!
Asheton Bertrand, MBA
Asheton was born in Monterey, California, but her family moved to Germany shortly after, due to her father’s service in the Army. During her school years, Asheton’s family relocated back to her parent’s hometown, Savannah, TN, where she lived for the majority of her life.
Asheton attended MTSU in Murfreesboro, TN and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism & Speech, as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration. As the Director of Operations for JustSkin, she is the point of contact for all business inquiries. She makes sure the practice is operating efficiently in order for healthcare professionals and staff to provide patients with the best care possible.
As a South Nashville resident she enjoys working in her community and contributing to the Century Farms business community. Asheton served as a member of the Ascension St. Thomas CommonWealth Society.
She was nominated as an Athena Young Professional and is an alumna of Chi Omega Sorority.
Dr. Ronald A. Nelson
Supervising Physician
Dr. Ronald A. Nelson founded Stones River Dermatology in 2010 and has served over 50,000 patients in Rutherford county. Born in Washington State and raised outside Portland, Oregon Dr. Nelson first moved to Tennessee in August, 1986, to attend the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine after his graduation from Stanford University in California. During medical school Dr. Nelson was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as a third year student. Following graduation from medical school in 1990, Dr. Nelson entered the United States Air Force at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. While at Keesler, he finished a medical internship then trained in aerospace medicine.
Dr. Nelson served as a flight surgeon for F-15 Eagle Fighter Squadrons at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, and Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. Flying 850 flight hours in Air Force aircraft, including almost 150 flights in the F-15D and deployments to Japan, Korea, Singapore, Guam, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Iceland on Air Force missions during his military service. The Society of United States Air Force Flight Surgeons named Dr. Nelson Pacific Air Force Flight Surgeon of the Year in 1994 and Air Combat Command Flight Surgeon of the Year in 1998. In 1999, Dr. Nelson left the Air Force to begin dermatology residency training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center., completing residency and board certification by the American Board of Dermatology in 2002.
Dr. Nelson has been named by Castle Connolly as a Top Nashville Dermatologist for 11 consecutive years!
